Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s spring Job Fair at the Opole University of Technology was canceled. The event took place this month, but it was quite different from all the editions we have attended (since 2011). This time, the entirety of the 12th Academic Job Fair of the Opole University of Technology was held online. Instead of talking to students at our booth, we had chats and Skype calls. Unfortunately, this is only a pale shadow compared to being able to speak to a potential candidate in person. We hope that the next fair will be held in a traditional way. Meanwhile, we decided to take advantage of this situation and expand our presence at job fairs in the area. We will take part in the Employer and Entrepreneurship Exchange at the Silesian University of Technology. It will be held on December 14-18, 2020.
